OUR CYCLING FRIENDS/COMMUNITY

If you are a runner, cyclist, triathelete or just an active person, Road ID is for you. In the event of an accident, if you can't speak for yourself, your Road ID will. It's not just a piece of gear - it's peace of mind. It has already saved my life! DeafBikeSigns is now an affiliate of Road ID. Get your "Road ID" by clicking on the logo and make your order, DeafBikeSigns will receive 10% of the proceeds.

Deaf Sports and Fitness (DSF) of Portland, Oregon allows our signing individuals (both deaf and hearing) to compete in events to promote health and fitness within our deaf and hard-of-hearing communities and outside. DSF's sporting groups vary to join for walking, running, biking and kayaking. I have became involved with their biking trainings/bike event and had appreciated their full support with my cycling needs.

DEAFlete provides opportunities and support and facilitates a safer environment for those who are deaf and hard-of-hearing who are interested in active lifestyles. DEAFlete believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, involvement in other parts of life, self-advocating, and quality of life. DEAFlete aims to help the deaf and hard-of-hearing to interact better with the hearing population and in turn eliminating discrimination and increasing communication.
