DeafBikeSigns was an inspiration that came from my experience of crashing into another cyclist. How did this happen? I am Deaf and other cyclists always assume I am not.

I am never able to catch the verbal warnings and messages being called out that I am expected to respond to. So I thought of an easy solution that works for both Deaf and Hearing cyclists. DeafBikeSigns was created as an effective way to inform other cyclists of our deafness. It immediately alerts others of the risk that we don't know they are there.
